Open to the public & as always: Free admission to our mineral shows

The Gem and Mineral show is in two rooms on the Second Floor, mauka side of the historic building.

Hwaii 2016 Rock and Mineral Show

Over a dozen Rock and Mineral Society of Hawai‘i members will offer minerals, mineral jewelry and gemstones for sale to the public. Beads and mineral jewelry directly form the artist are available as well.

Added Bonus: Street parking is FREE on Sunday, including on both sides of Beretania, Thomas Square and Young St. (please note that the Honolulu Museum of Art School lot charges on Sundays too*). Meters around Thomas square need to be fed on Saturday. More on parking, bus info and a map on the Honolulu Museum of Art webssite

Some examples (too many to list them all): Alexandrite, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Agate and Jasper, Diamond, Fossils, Garnet, Iolite, Jadeite Jade and Nephrite Jade, Meteorite, Opal, Pearls, Peridot, Quartz Crystals, Ruby, Sapphire, Shark teeth, Tanzanite, Topaz, Tourmalines, Tsavorite Garnet, Turquoise and quite a few more. Come and see our great array of beautiful minerals from around the world. If you look for something special or specific, somebody among us will have it.

Bring your Family. Other planned events are: Gem Identification by local experts. Gem and mineral displays, interactive with minerals and fossils of Hawai’i. Lapidary cutting and polishing demonstrations (if space allows). Rare display of Hawaiian Minerals: Quartz, Calcite, Opal, and Agate, that you may not see anywhere else.

Located at 1035 Kinau Street, between Victoria Street and Pensacola Street (Diamond Head of the Admiral Thomas condominium).
The lot is closed to the public 10am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.
4:30-11pm and weekends: Open to the public and free
